Service Description

Home Care vs Supported Living

Home Care

Our home care service is a great solution for people that want to continue living independently at home.  Our  passionate carers will visit you at agreed times to support you with various activities;  whether it’s to remind you to take your medication, help you with your personal care, prepare and serve meals (or support with feeding) or just to help out with everyday tasks around the house.

We’ll discuss your care needs with you or your loved one and from there we’ll design a care plan that includes a timetable of visiting care. Some people might have a visit once or twice a week while people with more complex care needs might require four visits a day. Visits can last anywhere from fifteen minutes up to three hours so the care is flexible too, so you’ll be able to tell us when you can manage certain tasks and when you want us to assist you

Supported Living

Supported living services can help if you do not want to live in residential care but you're finding it difficult to cope at home.

They're a combination of suitable accommodation – which can be a house we provide or your own home – with some forms of personal care (like help with washing or cooking).

Some supported living homes are shared by 2 - 4 people with a similar health problem, such as a substance misuse problem or a particular disability.

Dedicated staff  can either stay or visit the home  at specified times to help you get out of bed, go out to college or work, and do simple tasks such as shopping, housework and repairs.

They can also help with administrative tasks and personal care.

Live in  Care or 24-Hour Care

Live-in care is a personalised 24 hour service which we provides for all aspects of social care (including personal care, support taking medication, preparing meal and feeding) in the comfort of your own home.

Live-in care has many benefits such as allowing you to retain your independence and continue to live in the style you are accustomed. It is also cheaper than the cost of care homes. You get to stay in your own community, with friends and family at hand, in surroundings that you know and love. This method of care allows you to maintain your quality of life and improve your health with a holistic care service approach.
